On occasion of the end of the grand coalition of the Berlin house of representatives, the question has again arisen, whose fault the building of the Berlin Wall (13 August 1961) was. The Deutsches Kolleg herewith answers this question once and for all:
The main blame lies with the Western occupying powers, above all with the USA. Partial blame was voluntarily taken upon itself, by the party system of the Western Zone, here above all by the CDU/CSU, as the main party of the FRG. Additional blame lies with the Eastern occupying power; forced complicity, but no blame, can be ascribed to the SED. No blame and no complicity whatsoever can be attributed to the PDS!

The dismemberment-regime Federal Republic of Austria (FRA), is a joint-crime of the four nominal victors of World War II.

The dismemberment-regime Federal Republic of Germany (FRG), is a particular crime of the Western powers, against which the Eastern power had to react with the dismemberment-regime German Democratic Republic (GDR).

All specific acts of brutality, which the Eastern power committed for the preservation of the GDR, are therefore the fault of the Western occupying power and its stooges, the party and media system of the FRG.
